Introduction into the topic:

Topics of discrimination, equal opportunities and social inclusion are not topics about distant problems of “others” or socially marginalised groups, but common social problems. They touch each and everyone of us. Discrimination does not "happen" only to members of minorities, Roma, people with disabilities, pregnant women, refugees, it can happen to anybody. Also, everybody is certainly able to discriminate other people, and does it often too. Prevention of discrimination and the fight for equal opportunities and social inclusion is therefore not only a responsibility of our states and public authorities. Everybody has an important responsibility in tackling discrimination and striving for more just and equal world. Especially the teachers and parents, educating our young about realities of today for tomorrows’ opportunities. We want to live in the society that cherishes the talents and abilities of all its members.
