In its core, prejudices are evaluations of social groups. They can be negative or positive, but most definitely resistant to change. So, how do we address them, especially in a school environment?  First of all it is valuable if we can make students aware, that everybody can and do have prejudices about one or another group, even themselves. What is important is to found out which prejudice we have and try to overcome them eventually. Among the most known methods for reducing prejudices and overcoming conflicts arising from them is the Allport’s contact hypothesis.
